Even though the Giants and Cowboys played the other night, I saved the NFC East best for last.
DALLAS COWBOYS
And we start off with my favorite team, the Cowboys. Dallas was a contender in 2011 until last December when they fell off, losing 3 out of the last 4 games. QB Tony Romo is healthy again and RB DeMarco Murray is an up-and-coming running back and he will definitely be a key figure for this team. Romo's targets: Miles Austin, Jason Witten & Dez Bryant are all back. Kevin Ogletree had a career night in Week 1 against the Giants, having over 100 receiving yards and 2 TDs and can be the 3rd WR. The defense also got an upgrade in Brandon Carr, joining DeMarcus Ware & Sean Lee, which could be tough line under coordinator Rob Ryan. The schedule is favorable, with 5 of the last 7 games at home, and their divisional games are spread apart (NY Giants 2 out of 1st 7 games, Philadelphia Weeks 10 & 13, Washington Weeks 12 & 17), this team is favorable for a playoff spot.
NEW YORK GIANTS
The defending Super Bowl champions got off to a slow start, losing Week 1 at home against the Cowboys 24-17. Eli Manning had a good night though on the passing game, but receivers Victor Cruz & Hakeem Nicks need work. The running game also needs work. Ahmad Bradshaw had 80 rushing yards and rookie David Wilson has a lot of work to keep the backup RB job. The defense was also weak, but improvement is much needed after that loss. The schedule is tough for the Giants, including road trips to Philadelphia (Week 4), San Francisco (Week 6), Dallas (Week 8), Atlanta (Week 15) & Baltimore (Week 16). Home matchups include Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Green Bay.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
QB Michael Vick predicted this team will win the Super Bowl. In my eyes, he already jinxed the team's chances. The Eagles have tough opponents early as they host Baltimore Week 2, travel to Pittsburgh 3 weeks later and host Detroit Week 6. After their Week 7 Bye, the Eagles host Atlanta, then play 2 games with Dallas and wrap up the season at NY. Vick's offensive targets include RB LeSean McCoy, WRs Jeremy Maclin & DeSean Jackson. The defense is still a threat and Nnamdi Asomugha looks to have a stronger season.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
The Redskins are still in the rebuilding phases of the franchise. They drafted QB Robert Griffin III 2nd overall in the NFL Draft, and he will be under pressure to succeed in this team. RGIII's targets include WRs Pierre Garcon, Santana Moss & Josh Morgan. RB Roy Helu & Evan Royster will be handling the ground game. Coach Mike Shanahan is optimistic this team will be improved from 2011. The schedule features early road games at New Orleans, St. Louis & Tampa Bay as well as Pittsburgh & NY Giants before their bye week. Home games include Atlanta, Minnesota & Baltimore and this team could be a playoff contender, especially come 2013.

SUPER BOWL PREDICTION
As the NFL season is about to start, I'm gonna make my Super Bowl prediction: Green Bay will beat Houston.
