With half of the Chase races in the books, Sunday's upcoming Talladega race will definitely be a nail-biter. So since I last wrote on here, Kevin Harvick dominated at Loudon (lost to Matt Kenseth) and won at Dover, where he also was out front 95 percent of the race. Then 4 drivers including Jimmie Johnson, were eliminated from the Chase, which then went to Charlotte, a race dominated by Joey Logano, who also won last week at Kansas.
Therefore, with NASCAR's annual "crap shoot" race at Talladega this Sunday, 11 drivers will be battling for 7 spots to advance into the next round of the Chase for the Cup. With the nature of the restrictor-plate racing that takes place at this specific track, nobody is safe, so points will be absolutely crucial. Definitely a fun race to watch.
FORMULA ONE
Only 4 races remain in the 2015 Formula One season, once again dominated by Mercedes. This weekend will be the US Grand Prix in Austin. Should be an entertaining event, and could see Mercedes win the constructors championship and another win for Lewis Hamilton. We'll see.
